This helmet has removable and washable cheekpads which is always a bonus on those hot summer rides that leave the inside of your helmet smelling like a locker in a high school locker room. Anyone who rides as much as I do, knows the importance of washable cheekpads. It makes your helmet last longer and smell better over time. Also, the adjustable chin and forehead ventilation will help keep an airflow going through your helmet acting like a mild ac unit...depending on how hot it is outside. To top it all off, the Daytona Shadow comes complete with an anti-scratch shield to help keep the bugs out of your teeth...protein we'd all rather not have. The UV lacquer finish also helps shield the suns rays and create a protective barrier on the paint from stones and other road debris. Ride safe!!!
